Be sure you have all of your ingredients and materials together and that your mould is prepared and handy because once you start this process you must move quickly and stay alert. 5. In an area of good ventilation, pour the water into the pitcher with the Lye. I generally take it outside and do the pouring on a flat surface such as concrete. Once all of the Lye solution is in the pot, set the Pitcher aside. Continue to run the hand blender until you can see the trails.

8. Immediately pour it into your mould and scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula to get as much of the mixture out as possible. Place a piece of cardboard over your mould and cover with a towel to so the soap does not cool too quickly. Place somewhere level and try not to disturb for 24 hours.

9. After 24-48 hours, remove the soap from the mould, cut into desired sized bars and lay out to dry for approximately 30 days.
